Vironex Kicks Off Expansion Of New Washington DC Regional Facility With Chemical Oxidation and Reduction Workshop

    August 18, 2005

In celebration of opening our new regional operation’s center in Bowie, MD, Vironex recently hosted a chemical oxidation and reduction workshop for our mid-Atlantic clients. We had a full house and presentations by the leading in-situ remediation reagent companies in the U.S, including Carus Chemical (Permanganate), Regenesis (RegenOx), and Adventus Americas (EHC).

Vironex also presented its new high-efficiency injection rig, including an injection demo, and why delivery of reagents is critical to remediation success.

Vironex also presented its Membrane Interface Probe (MIP) system, and how it can be used to locate contamination in relation to lithology to better target delivery of in-situ remediation reagents.

“I was really pleased with the turnout and the quality of the presentations. Feedback from attendees was that they came away with a much better understanding of chemical oxidation and reduction technologies and remediation approaches,” said Gene Burke, Vironex’s Regional Manager.

“Our new operation’s center allows us to better accommodate the growth we are realizing through our environmental field services that support consultants with soil and groundwater remediation projects,” said Alan Livadas, President.
