In-Situ Soil and Groundwater Remediation Fleet

Rocky Mountain Regional Remediation System

- "Bringing Chemistry and Contaminants Together" -
Vironex has made significant investments in people and technology to support our consultant clients with their in-situ remediation projects. See EPA Report - Cleaning Up the Nation's Waste Sites: Markets and Technology Trends (2004 Edition)
Vironex has manufactured customized mobile injection systems across the U.S. that have the capability of cost effectively mixing and injecting large quantities of in-situ remedial compounds (i.e., Potassium Permanganate, Sodium Permanganate, Fenton’s Reagent, Activated Sodium Persulfate, RegenOx, ORC, Permeox, Emulsified Zero Valent Iron, Nano-Scale Iron, Adventus EHC, HRC, Vegetable Oils, Sodium Lactate, Newman Zone, EOS, Inoculum, KB-1, MRC, Calcium Polysulfide).

Southern California Regional Remediation System

Vironex's mobile injection systems are fully self-contained and have integrated heating units, motor control centers, mixers, pumps, secondary containment, water transfer and storage, power, compressed air, hydraulic PTO, and injection monitoring equipment.
Vironex provides integrated mixing and pumping systems (diaphragm, piston, and progressive cavity) that can achieve injection rates of 100 GPM and pressures up to 1500 PSI.
Vironex can deliver reagents through DPT points or injection wells individually and multiple injection locations through our manifold piping.
Key Remediation Fleet Benefits:
Integration of Mixing and Pumping Systems = High Injection Efficiency
Capable Of Supporting High Injection Rates @ 100 GPM
Easy To Move To Injection Locations and Though Neighborhoods
Community Acceptance
Enhanced Safety
Operator Protection From Adverse Weather

Combination Injection / DPT Track Injection System

Combination Injection / DPT Track Injection System
There are many project locations that require mobilization of equipment at large distances from Vironex’s regional operations centers across the country. To minimize the cost of mobilization for our clients, Vironex has integrated the ability to transport a Geoprobe 6620 DT Track Rig with a high performance injection rig.
High Performance Injection Rig

With industry recognition that reagent/contaminant contact is directly related to the % pore volume injected, many of our consultant clients’ remediation designs include the requirements for large volumes of oxidants or carbon substrates to be injected at multiple direct push injection points. To cost effectively meet this need, Vironex is building a new generation of specialized injection rigs.
These high performance rigs are currently capable of supporting injection from 2 high volume (50 to 100 gpm), moderate pressure progressive (up to 400 psi) cavity pumps to 4 simultaneous direct push injection locations. At each location Vironex can target discrete injection intervals through custom designed bottom-up or top-down tooling. Each location is continuously monitored for flow, total gallons injected, and pressure.
Other configurations are available to meet project specific needs.

INJECTION TOOLING
Specially designed top-down and bottom-up injection tooling allows Vironex to inject remedial compounds at specific target depths. In addition to the injection tooling, we also can use check valve assemblies to eliminate any back pressure that may occur during injection. With this combination of tooling we are able to provide a cleaner and more precise injection process to help provide contact of reagents with contaminants in a wide range of lithologies.
When Direct Push tooling encounters refusal due to very tight formations, often Vironex's narrow diameter DPT augers can penetrate the zone to allow for remediation applications below the previously impenetrable layer. Specially designed narrow diameter augers (2.5 " OD) can cut through caliche layers and other hard pack areas.
