General Information

Vironex has offices in the eastern United States in Washington DC, and North Carolina, and in the western United States in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Denver. Please see our Locations page for detailed information.

With the largest fleet of Direct Push Technology (DPT) vehicles in the country, Vironex is literally on thousands of sites a year.

  • Vironex injects various compounds into aquifers to remediate contaminated sites, including, but not limited to oxygen release compound (ORC) and hydrogen release compound (HRC), which promote bio-remediation processes. Hydrogen peroxide and potassium permanganate (KMn04) are injected to promote oxidation processes. Please see our In-Situ Remediation page for detailed information.

  • Vironex offers direct imaging and soil conductivity services allowing you to identify contaminated zones and/or log changes in lithology without collecting a core sample. Please see our Direct Sensing Applications page for detailed information.

  • Vironex collects soil, groundwater and soil vapor samples utilizing a variety of Direct Push Technology (DPT) equipment. Please see our Sampling Services page for detailed information.

    Vironex is a leader in the Direct Push Industry offering the largest fleet of Geoprobe® vehicles available across the United States. Vironex supports environmental field investigations nationally and internationally through its extensive resource base that allows clients to commit multiple rigs to their projects. Vironex is a Small Business.

     

    Training and Safety

    Safety is an integral part of Vironex's philosophy and work day. We believe that safety is best achieved using a proactive approach which begins with training. All Vironex operators are required to receive and maintain certain fundamental training courses, including 40 hour OSHA training, plus annual 8 hour refresher courses. Additionally, all Vironex operators receive thorough and ongoing training on various forms of Direct Push Technology (DPT) and all equipment used by field personnel. Furthermore, each Vironex office conducts monthly staff and safety meetings to insure that training and safety remain at the forefront of our corporate values. Vironex has a dedicated Corporate Safety Officer to monitor and address all safety concerns.

     

    Insurance

    Vironex carries extensive insurance coverage and upon request will provide Certificates of Insurance (COI) with the appropriate additionally insured language. Bonding and other specific insurance requirements are available upon request.

  • Automobile Liability: $1,000,000

    Licenses

    Vironex holds licenses in those states that require licensing, including: California, Delaware, Louisiana, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Washington. Many states do not require licenses for DPT services, however, as regional requirements for licensing can vary, please check with your local Vironex office for further details.
