Angle Boring

Vironex is capable of advancing sampling tool strings at varying angles using Direct Push Technology (DPT). These applications are helpful when the site conditions do not allow the DPT equipment to be set up directly over the desired boring location for a standard vertical penetration. It should be noted that angle borings may effect the total achievable depth under unfavorable soil conditions. Angle limitations for each DPT Rig and the tool chain footage required to reach the desired depth below the ground surface (bgs) are shown below.
